Elijah Higgins, Tight End
Elijah Higgins' commitment to supporting service members and military families comes from a very personal place. His father served 28 years in the U.S. Air Force, maintaining C-130 Hercules aircraft, and growing up in a military family gave Elijah a firsthand appreciation for the sacrifices made by those who serve. In spring 2024, Elijah joined a USO tour to Kuwait, spending a week visiting military bases and connecting with more than 100 deployed service members. He made it a priority to show them that their sacrifices are seen and appreciated, spending meaningful time listening, sharing experiences, and offering encouragement. The impact did not end when the trip was over. Elijah stayed in touch with several service members he met, sending autographed footballs, photos, and Cardinals gear as a reminder that they had not been forgotten. His support continued throughout 2025 through a KC-135 Stratotanker refueling flight, community service efforts, and a special recognition dinner honoring TAPS families alongside Cardinals players and staff. This season, Elijah has continued building those relationships by supporting a Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride and spending time with members of the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base. Through these experiences, Elijah has shown a genuine commitment to recognizing service, strengthening the military community, and building lasting relationships with service members, veterans, and their families.
