Benjamin Boswell, Team Physician
Dr. Benjamin Boswell, Assistant Team Physician for the Cleveland Browns and a Major in the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps, exemplifies the spirit of Salute to Service through a remarkable commitment that spans both his military and medical careers. For the past seven years, Dr. Boswell has provided exceptional care to Browns players while simultaneously answering a larger call to service as an Army Reserve physician. While practicing Primary Care Sports Medicine and Emergency Medicine at University Hospitals and supporting the Browns, he has deployed twice to the Middle East. In 2021, he served in support of Operation Spartan Shield and Operation Allies Refuge, putting his medical expertise to work in service to our country and those carrying out its mission. His dedication to the military community extends beyond his own uniform. Dr. Boswell and his wife, Dr. Christina Boswell, both serve in the Army Reserve while practicing medicine at University Hospitals and raising their two young children. Together, they embody the sacrifice, resilience, and commitment shared by military families across the country. Through his service, Dr. Boswell stands alongside those who serve, uses his skills as a physician to support others, and provides a meaningful connection between the Browns organization and the military community. Dr. Boswell does not simply express appreciation for our nation's military community; he is part of it, making him an extraordinary representative of what Salute to Service stands for.
