Spencer Brown, Offensive Lineman

Spencer Brown, offensive lineman for the Buffalo Bills, has a personal connection to military service that has shaped his commitment to service members, veterans, and their families. Military service is prominent in the Brown family, and Spencer grew up looking up to his older brother, Garrett, who joined the U.S. Marine Corps directly out of high school and served at several duty stations, including four years in Hawaii. Since joining the Bills in 2021, Spencer has turned that personal connection into meaningful support for the military community in Western New York. In 2024, he participated in Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight, accompanying veterans on a trip to Washington, D.C., to visit memorials honoring their service and sacrifice. Spencer has also used the NFL's My Cause My Cleats initiative to recognize Mission 22 in both 2022 and 2025, raising awareness for an organization that supports service members, veterans, and military families while addressing isolation, trauma, invisible wounds, and veteran suicide. In 2025, Spencer participated in the Bills' Salute to Service celebration by visiting the Buffalo VA Medical Center for a Veterans Day event, spending time speaking with veterans and staff and distributing Salute to Service gear. Through these efforts, Spencer continues to turn his family's military connection into action, recognizing those who serve, supporting resources for veterans and their families, and building meaningful connections with the military community.
