Tennessee Titans History

The Tennessee Titans franchise was founded in 1960 as the Houston Oilers. In 1997, the team relocated to Tennessee and was eventually renamed the Titans in 1999 to match the spirit of the city and mark a new beginning for the organization. The organization has won more than 400 regular-season and postseason games, captured one conference championship, 11 division titles, clinched 25 playoff appearances, and appeared in one Super Bowl championship (Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000).

The Tennessee Titans’ biggest rivals are the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Indianapolis Colts.

The Tennessee Titans played their first and only Super Bowl on January 30, 2000, against the St. Louis Rams. Unfortunately, the Titans were defeated (23-16) in a game that is considered by many to be an all-time classic. Super Bowl XXXIV is also famous for being referred to as the "Dot-Com Super Bowl" due to the heavy amount of dot-com ads.

    Titans vs. Bengals

    by Jack Mannion on 10/4/23

First NFL game and the atmosphere was incredible! I spent $281 and it was worth every penny seeing Derrick Henry run for a TD and even passing for a TD! 27-3 Titans win! Titan up! As one of my friends has said previously in the past, Joe Burrow NOT TONIGHT!

    Nashville

by CL on 1/3/23Nissan Stadium - Nashville

Nashville was a fun town to visit. The stadium was nice. Lots of walking. Tickets were too expensive imo since the tickets listed for the wild card game there in a week were 300 dollars cheaper. Food was good. Ate at the Diner. Highly recommend. Overall good trip. Will return again.

    Starting Traditions and Making Memories

    by J. G. on 11/16/22Nissan Stadium - Nashville

First time to attend an NFL game since the '90's! Bought the tickets for my son and daughter-in-law to meet me in Nashville for the game and it was well worth it to see their excitement during the game. We were fashionably bundled up and braved the cold with tasty warm liquids. The overall experience was great and I can't wait for the next game! Thanks for memories Titans and for the WIN! TITAN UP!

    Raiders vs Titians

This was my first NFL game and unfortunately my team Raiders lost by 2 points. I had a fantastic time. Using the digital tickets was very easy.

    Could have been better

by Jarod on 9/29/22Nissan Stadium - Nashville

Our friend was late whilst we were in our seats, and the app wouldn’t let me transfer him the ticket at all so I had to miss half the game going all the way down the bottom again!! Then my card didn’t work at any food or drink station

    Folks in wrong seats. 😫

by BrenH on 8/23/22Nissan Stadium - Nashville

The ONLY negative aspect of the game: folks thinking they can just sit anywhere. It’s very frustrating when I use Ticketmaster and have to choose the exact seat, then I get there and folks are sitting there. Folks behind us were in the wrong seats as well. I was very thankful a person was there to help with the situation immediately. Other than that: Totally Awesome!!

    Epic times

    by Nique19 on 1/25/22Nissan Stadium - Nashville

No issues with the ticket purchase or process! We need a new QB, but that has nothing to do with the experience!
