Tom Brady: My dream is to play an NFL game in China

Tom Brady's New England Patriots were scheduled to play a game in China back in 2007, but the preseason contest versus the Seattle Seahawks was ultimately canceled. With his career coming closer to a close, Brady wants a chance to play that game finally.

"My dream is to play a game here in China someday," Brady said during a promotional tour in China, via ESPN.com. "We had an opportunity, I think, 10 years ago, and my team was going to play here, and unfortunately it didn't work out. But one day I hope that there are many games here, and over the course of a year, because it's such a great sport and because I love it so much, to bring that here and to bring the discipline and incredible strategy involved."

The NFL has been reportedly eyeing a regular-season game in China in 2018, but nothing has been officially announced by the league.

Brady successfully ducked reporters during offseason workouts this summer, but didn't shy away from the media in China, even being photographed tossing a pigskin on the Great Wall during his promotional tour.
