Jason Peters (back) expected to return after bye

The Philadelphia Eagles got some good news Monday.

Coach Chip Kelly said left tackle Jason Peters should be good to go when the team reconvenes next week following the Week 8 bye.

Peters was carted off the field Sunday night with what looked like a devastating injury. The left tackle could barely move enough to get on the cart with a lower back injury.

It's phenomenal news for an Eagles front that has been plagued by poor play this season. Trying to block without their seven-time Pro Bowl left tackle would have been a daunting task versus a ramped-up Cowboys pass rush in Week 9.
