'Do Your Job' offers inside look at Patriots' title run

The New England Patriots and "inside access" aren't typical bedfellows. When the curtain gets pulled back on Patriot Way, it's well worth the peek.

That opportunity arrives on Sept. 9 at 8 p.m. ET, when NFL Network premieres Do Your Job: Bill Belichick and the 2014 New England Patriots. The NFL Films produced special airs one night before the Pats begin defense of their Super Bowl title in the season kickoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Based on the tease (which you can watch above), we'll get an inside perspective on Malcolm Butler's Super Bowl-clinching interception from Belichick and other Pats staffers who helped draw up and execute one of the most iconic plays in NFL history. You can also expect a retrospective on a wild Pats season, from the prime-time blowout in Kansas City that served as the team's nadir to the stirring Tom Brady-led comeback against the Seahawks in Arizona.

"Do Your Job" became Belichick's call to arms during the Patriots' championship season. Belichick offers some context to his buzz phrase in the trailer.

"Maybe the one word that isn't in that's implied is 'Do your job ... well," Belichick explains. "It could be enough to make the difference."

We're always in good hands with NFL Films, so you can expect this special to be well worth the DVR space.
