Tray Walker of Texas Southern might intrigue teams with length

Representatives from 21 NFL teams were present for Texas Southern's pro day on Thursday, when a workout was held outdoors on Tartan Turf.

Cornerback Tray Walker (6-foot-2 1/4, 187 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.54 seconds against the wind and 4.53 seconds with the wind. He had a 32 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-2 broad jump. He did the 20-yard short shuttle in 4.3 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.8 seconds.

Because of Walker's length and decent speed for his position, some team will bring him in as either a seventh-round choice in the 2015 NFL Draft or be a priority free-agent pickup following the draft.
