Texas A&M QB Kenny Hill has been suspended for two games for a violation of team rules.

In less than a week, Texas A&M quarterback Kenny Hill has gone from the Aggies' starter, to its backup, and now to its suspended backup.

The school announced Hill will miss the Aggies' next two games due to a violation of team rules and athletic department policy, according to various media reports, including After the Aggies lost three consecutive games capped by Hill's worst performance of the season against Alabama, coach Kevin Sumlin announced that the Aggies' quarterback competition would re-open between Hill and heralded freshman Kyle Allen.

Earlier this week, it was learned that Allen had won the starting nod for today's game against Louisiana-Monroe.

Texas A&M figured to snap its losing streak with either at quarterback against the Warhawks, but Hill's suspension now means that Allen will also be thrust into a difficult road start at Auburn next week. If Allen keeps the job, he'll also make starts against Missouri and LSU to close the season.
