Maurice Jones-Drewconceded Wednesday that several teams believed he didn't have much left in the tank.
During an interview with NFL Media's Adam Schein on SiriusXM's Mad Dog Sports Radio, the running back said his final choices --Â among eight teams displaying interest -- came down to the Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots and Oakland Raiders.

MJD chose the team least likely to get him to his first playoff appearance since 2007.
One reason Jones-Drew signed a three-year, $7.5 million contract in Oakland was to return to where he grew up and play for a Raiders team he rooted for as a fan.
MJD said the Raiders are in "win-now" mode, and he believes signal-caller Matt Schaub can take them to the Super Bowl.
"You can definitely (make the Super Bowl with Matt Schaub at quarterback)," Jones-Drew said. "(Schaub) has something to prove this year. ... I know Matt Schaub is a guy who can lead us."
Of course, the other finalists on his list have quarterbacks named Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady, who have won Super Bowls.
