Michael Oher could be playing last game with Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens drafted Michael Oher in 2009 believing he could be Joe Flacco's blindside protector for a decade.

It never quite worked out that way. Oher struggled at left tackle and was eventually moved to the right side. A position change hasn't solved his issues -- Oher currently ranks 68th out of 76 qualified tackles, according to ProFootballFocus.com.

The inspiration for "The Blind Side" would like to remain with the Ravens in 2014, but he also sounds resigned that a change of scenery is on the horizon.

"If it happens, that would be great. You don't want to pick up and move," Oher said of staying in Baltimore, via ESPN.com. "But that's the nature of the business. This is a great organization. They're going to put themselves in the best situation to win.

"If that means getting rid of me, they're going to do what's best for the team. I totally understand that."

Oher hasn't been a total bust for the Ravens. He's never missed a game during his career and was an every-week starter during Baltimore's Super Bowl run last season. But left tackle Eugene Monroe -- acquired in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars in October -- is the team's priority in free agency.

Oher might have run out of time to prove he's a part of the Ravens' future.

The latest "Around The League Podcast" delivered a Christmas gift, analyzing the chaotic playoff picture in both conferences.
