Bill Belichick's Patriots contract won't expire soon

No one knows how much New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick makes. We do know that his contract isn't going to end anytime soon.

Belichick's contract was to expire in 2013 after its renewal in 2007. Sources told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Media columnist Mike Silver that's no longer the case.

"He'll be coaching for a long time," the source told Rapoport.

Silver added Thursday on NFL Network's "NFL Total Access Kickoff": "He is not going anywhere."

Belichick never has liked publicly talking about his contract. But he's consistently expressed his love for his job, and his attention to detail never seems to wane. Some coaches appear to get weary at parts of the season. Belichick always is the same.

I always expected Belichick to stay until the end of Tom Brady's career, at least. Belichick knows better than anyone how hard it is to find a good quarterback.
