ATL's Power Poll: No Super Bowl favorites

There are no Super Bowl favorites. Sure, a lot of us writers might have stuck with our preseason Green Bay Packers pick at midseason. But they are an injury-ravaged team with three losses in a deep division.

After 10 weeks, there are no fewer than nine teams we could see hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in February. If Ben Roethlisberger can get healthy in time, I would make it 10 teams; with half of the squads in the much maligned AFC.

The key takeaway here: There isn't a huge gap between No. 1 and No. 10 in's Power Poll. It's all about matchups and Any Given Sunday. I ranked the Houston Texans first in my weekly Power Poll entry, but it's not like there is some huge difference between them and the Chicago Bears -- ranked seventh.

Shake up the top 10 teams in a hat -- or a single elimination tournament -- and a different one could come out each time. It's part of the reason we are all so addicted to the NFL.
