Are the undefeated Falcons and defending champion Giants destined for doom on Sunday? Elliot Harrison provides his picks. More ...

Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Richard Seymour drew a flag for his Week 8 hit on Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel, and now he's drawn a fine from the league.

The defensive tackle was docked $15,750 for his late hit in the Raiders' 26-16 win on Sunday.

The Chiefs capitalized on the penalty late in the fourth quarter, scoring on the drive after the foul moved them deep into Raiders' territory. The game, however, was already well out of hand.

Other fines confirmed Friday:

» Chicago Bears safety Chris Conte thought his $21,000 fine was a prank put on by his teammates, according to Bears radio network sideline reporter Zach Zaidman. It turned out to be all too true, however, as Conte was indeed fined that amount for striking a defenseless player in the head and neck area. The Bears did manage to edge out a 23-22 win against the Carolina Panthers.

» New York Giants defensive tackle Chris Canty was fined $15,750 for roughing the passer in his team's 29-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Canty led with the crown of his helmet when he struck Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
