Steven Jackson plays for St. Louis Rams vs. Bears

NFL Network's Stacey Dales reports that St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson will play against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Jackson was listed as questionable on the injury report with a groin injury, and he didn't practice during the week. That makes his activation for Sunday's game a surprise.

With Jackson available, undrafted rookie Darryl Richardson should come off the bench for the Rams. We'd expect Richardson to get plenty of snaps, and Isaiah Pead also should help on third downs.

Quarterback Sam Bradford has looked much improved this season, and he'll have to carry the Rams' offense Sunday.

You can check out the rest of the Sunday morning injury news in Around the League's injury roundup.

UPDATE:Jackson was in the Rams' backfield during their first possession against the Bears.
