True story: Flavor Flav, Coughlin hug after Super Bowl

The revolution will not be televised, but, believe it or not, a hug between Giants coach Tom Coughlin and rapper Flavor Flav was Sunday night.

If you didn't expect this, well, you're not alone. But this is a true story.

Caught on NFL Network in the afterglow of the Giants' 21-17 win over the Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI, and much to the shock of Rich Eisen, was a somewhat lengthy, celebratory embrace between Coughlin and the rapper-turned reality TV star dressed in an Eli Manning jersey with his trademark clock around his neck.

This leads us to believe that Coughlin either knew who he was hugging -- or wondered to himself, "Who the hell is this strange man I'm hugging with a clock hanging from his neck?" Our guess is the latter since Coughlin doesn't strike us as a Public Enemy fan (we could be wrong, though).

Whatever, this still calls for a "yeah boyyyyyy!"
