Fantasy football deep sleepers: Watch for Randy Moss in '12

Click the above tabs to see picks from our various analysts

Josh Freeman, QB, Buccaneers: Freeman is a hell of a lot better than his numbers last year suggest. He was throwing to Preston Parker, Dezmon Briscoe and Sammie Stroughter all season. With the arrivals of Vincent Jackson and Dallas Clark, and a running back in Doug Martin that can catch the ball out of the backfield, Freeman is a solid gamble in the later rounds.

Vince Young, QB, Bills: Remember the money in Ryan Fitzpatrick's deal isn't all that prohibitive of the Bills walking away from him after this season. With all the cash they've sunk into that defense, they're going to be looking to win some games. If Fitzy can't get it done, look for VY to get a shot, and we know what he can do with those legs to get you that extra point production.

Dwayne Allen, TE, Colts: While everyone is all twitterpate about Coby Fleener as Andrew Luck's favorite target in Indy, make sure you're the smartest guy in the room by taking the other rookie tight end on that roster, Dwayne Allen. Allen is the athletic freak at the position that's embodies that Aaron Hernandez/Jimmy Graham like pass catcher. The Colts are going to employ the early Peyton Manning style offense when he was putting up big numbers with Ken Dilger and Marcus Pollard, and while Dilger might be the name you remember, look at Pollard's production back in the early 2000s.

Andrew Luck, QB, Colts: Plain and simple I believe in the guy, implicitly. He's the best college football player I've ever watched. It felt like you were witnessing someone form the NFL be granted an extra year of eligibility and just carved up defenses at will. He's going to put up numbers, and even if he's your bye week QB, if he's there in a later round, pick him, you might have a QB controversy on your own Fantasy team.

Alshon Jeffery, WR, Bears: Look at his competition at the position. There is none. Devin Hester will become a specialist, Johnny Knox is coming off an awful injury, and Earl Bennett is serviceable. Jeffery is going to be Jay Cutler's red zone go to target, remember Jay made Devin Aromashodu relevant for a few weeks there.

Kendall Wright, WR, Titans: Emphais on deep sleeper. I'm not crazy about rookie wideouts, but Wright is special. He has that knack of knowing how to "go get the ball." With Kenny Britt coming back from a nasty injury, I suspect Wright will get a lot of looks.

Jake Locker, QB, Titans: Look at the first four weeks on the Titans' schedule. They'll host New England and Detroit, and travel to San Diego and Houston. That's 0-4 by the eyeball test, and that means come Week 5 against Minnesota, you'll see Jake Locker taking snaps, and considering he can use his feet, it's a good idea to snatch him up with one of your last picks.

Seattle DST: I know I've pushed the defense by the week philosophy in the past, and outside of this particular unit, I will maintain that position. Pete Carroll is all about attacking the offense. This unit is nasty, they will create turnovers, and getting a good 8-10 points per week, and a handful of 15-20s, it's worth using your last pick on a D.

Randy Moss, WR, 49ers: I would take the flier. If anyone can get things out of players you didn't think was possible, Jim Harbaugh is that guy. He is Bill Belichickesque in that manner. He's no nonsense, he won't put up with any of Moss' crap, and when Josh Morgan was filling that role of a deep threat, Alex Smith and he were starting to develop some chemistry early in the season.

Orson Charles, TE, Bengals: He's a physical freak. Jermaine Gresham has been a disappointment. Charles was a borderline high 2nd round pick before he got sideways at the combine by not working out, and getting picked up for DUI right after it. Word is they love him in the Natti, and he's going to put up some good looking numbers.
