Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said injured quarterback Tony Romo will be ready to go for Sunday's winner-take-all showdown against the New York Giants.
"Romo is where we had dreamed that he would be and hoped he would be relative to after his injury last week," Jones told KRLD-FM, via The Dallas Morning News, on Friday.
Romo was limited in Friday's practice and later listed as probable on the team's injury report after working with his throwing hand wrapped in tape this week. He bruised it during the first quarter of last Saturday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
"He's going to be playing at full strength," Jones added. "He has a very good team around him, so the stage is set to play well in a big game."
Romo has remained adamant throughout the week that he'll be under center against the Giants on Sunday night. The winner of the game will claim the NFC East title and a playoff spot.
Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austintold the team's official website Friday that he can't tell Romo's throwing hand is injured.
"I mean, he's accurate," Austin said. "I didn't have a radar gun to let me know (the speed). He would only know if he's zipping it. I felt like the passes were pretty on par with him.
"He's good. I feel like he's all right."
Cowboys running back Felix Jones (hamstring) and linebacker Sean Lee (wrist/illness) are both questionable for the game. Nose tackle Jay Ratliff (ribs), wide receiver Laurent Robinson (shoulder) and linebacker DeMarcus Ware (neck) are probable.
