Three Dallas Cowboys veterans met with Dez Bryant on Saturday, presumably to discuss recent off-the-field issues that have dogged the talented young wideout.
Bryant had lunch with quarterback Tony Romo, center Andre Gurode and inside linebacker Keith Brooking, the receiver confirmed Saturday on his Twitter page.
"Just finished eating with chase crawford,Tony romo Keith and Aundre gurode...had a good time," Bryant tweeted.
Crawford is an actor and Romo's future brother-in-law.
Gurode previously said he planned to reach out to Bryant in an attempt to put his teammate on a better path, The Dallas Morning Newsreported Saturday.
It has been an eventful offseason for Bryant, who has been sued by two jewelers and also had a run-in with security at a Dallas-area mall. He recently reached a settlement with a business owner over a $267,000 jewelry tab.
Bryant's legal woes aren't over. Eleow Hunt, a Colleyville, Texas, jeweler and ticket broker, also filed suit against Bryant for outstanding bills totaling more than $600,000 for jewelry, tickets to sporting events and cash advances before the Cowboys selected the receiver in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
Bryant, 22, had explosive moments as a rookie in Dallas before an ankle injury cut short his season. He finished with 45 catches for 561 yards and six touchdowns. He also was a dangerous special-teams threat, returning two punts for scores.
