Brown converted 92 percent of his field goals in 2014 knocking through 24 of his 26 attempts and making all four attempts from 50-plus yards out, with 44 extra points for good measure. His final point total is a bit deceiving though (14th overall), as he posted fewer than nine fantasy points in 11 of 16 games on the year. His strong finish skewed a disappointing season from a fantasy standpoint. The emergence of Odell Beckham Jr. could lend more opportunities for scoring come 2015, so while he probably shouldn't be drafted, keep your eye on Brown early in the season as a streaming option.

Catanzaro, an undrafted rookie in 2014, started the season on fire, converting his first 17 FG attempts and posting double-digit fantasy points in three of his first five games. But from Week 7 on, he posted double-digits just once. He still ranked second among rookie kickers with 33 field goals on the season, knocking through two of three from 50-plus yards out. He's got a strong leg and should improve upon his respectable rookie campaign in 2015, especially if Carson Palmer can stay healthy all season.

In 2013, Dawson posted top-10 fantasy numbers amongst kickers. In 2014, though, he saw a sharp drop in overall points. He actually missed two of his first four attempts on the season, but picked up a bit of steam in Weeks 4 and 5 with 16.00 and 20.00 fantasy points respectively. Unfortunately, it was pretty much all downhill from there. He converted just one or fewer FGs in nine of his 16 games, yet remained owned in about 79 percent of NFL.com leagues at the end of the season. There's a good chance he bounces back in 2015 under a new coaching regime (and hopefully a more efficient offense). Plus, some kickers seem to get better with age (see: Adam Vinatieri).

On a Jets offense that struggled to score touchdowns, Folk led the NFL with 39 field goal attempts in 2014. He converted 82 percent of those attempts putting a total of 32 through the posts. Where Folk lacked was the extra point department as he converted 23 all season -- a testament to just how poorly the Jets offense played last year. He finished the season strong with 45 total fantasy points combined over Gang Green's final four games of the year, but was nearly irrelevant in weeks prior. He could make for a nice streaming option at certain points during the year if the Jets offense gets its act together.

Nugent converted a dismal 78.8 percent of his field goal attempts last season, going 26-for-33. After making five of six attempts for a season-high 15.00 fanatasy points in Week 1, Nugent missed five attempts over his next four games. And in Weeks 13 and 14 he didn't even attempt a single field goal. Even though he re-signed with the Bengals for two more years, he should be left on the waiver wire as a possible streaming option for 2015.

Walsh, who himself is an avid fantasy football player, posted a forgettable 117 fantasy points and ranked outside of the top 15 among kickers this past season. He did have a few nice performances, but overall Walsh was inconsistent in the stat sheets. In fact, he failed to score double-digit fantasy points from Week 8 through the end of the season. He's still a young kicker at the age of 25, and hopefully the Vikings can turn things around in 2015 with the development of Teddy Brigewater and return of Adrian Peterson. Overall, look for Walsh to be considered a low-end fantasy starter with upside in the late rounds.

Novak converted 22 of his 26 FG attempts in 2014 and knocked through all 40 of his extra point attempts on the season. He also made three of his four field goals from 50-plus yards out. Novak started the season strong, with double-digits in two of his first four games, but had just one such outing the rest of the season. Even though he finished outside the top 20 fantasy kickers, he should be able to bounce back this season. Don't be afraid to pick him up in the very late rounds of fantasy drafts.

As a rookie in 2014, Santos converted 25 of his 30 FG attempts and punched through 38 extra points. His consistency was an issue, as his five double-digit fantasy games came in bunches, with some extended dry spells lasting for much of the season. Given the struggles the Chiefs offense has at times, Santos won't be a viable fantasy starter in 2015.

Fresh off a major contract extension entering the 2014 seaosn, Gould was looking to maintain his status as one of the better fantasy kickers. That didn't happen. He finished with a career-low 75 percent conversion rate on field goals and posted six games with out a single FG. He also missed the Bears last four games of the season due to injury. With a new regime in Chicago, one the most accurate kickers in NFL history will look to bounce back in 2015 and will border on starting fantasy kicker status come draft day.

Remember all the "Legatron" talk during Zuerlein's rookie season? Well, all the leg strength in the world doesn't matter if you're not seeing enough opportunities to produce. In 2014, Zuerlein saw just 30 field goal attempts behind what was a questionable Rams offense, and he only converted 80 percent of those attempts, finishing as the 20th-highest scoring fantasy kicker. St. Louis will have to get more going on offense before Zuelein can be considered a viable fantsy starter in 2015.

Forbath's lack of fanatsy value can be attributed to Washington's issues on the offensive side of the ball. He finished with just 31 extra point attempts and went 24-for-27 on field goals in 2014. He missed his only try from 50-plus yards out, and simply didn't get enough opportunity to make an impact as a fanatsy kicker. As long as he remains with Washington, he should be left on the waiver wire in 2015.

Scobee has had his share of memorable fantasy moments in his career, including nailing a 59-yard game-winning field goal against the Indianapolis Colts in 2010, but he has rarely been a consistent option. In fact, he finished just 29th in fantasy points among kickers last season. To make matters worse, Scobee has failed to finish in the top 15 at his position in each of the last four years. He also connected on just 76.9 percent of his attempts in 2014, his lowest mark since 2008. Scobee isn't going to be a viable fantasy option in drafts this fall.

Murray only missed four field goals (two were blocked) in his rookie season with Tampa Bay, but for the most part, he wasn't a fantasy starter. He only had double-digit points in one game all season. His five field goals made from 50-plus yards out is a promising note, though, with his longest a 55-yarder. His biggest problem was lack of opportunity as the Bucs offense struggled to produce. It's possible that Tampa Bay can turn things around with a new offensive coordinator and Jameis Winston under center in 2015, but until there are results on the field, leave Murray on the waiver wire.

Janikowski has been a boom or bust kicker in fantasy land for most of his NFL career. Last season was the later, as he finished an awful 26th in fantasy points among kickers. He knocked through a mere 19 field goals on the season, his lowest mark since 2006. Sea Bass has also seen a dip in field-goal attempts in each of the last five seasons, so his offense is clearly doing him no favors. If things don't pick up for the Silver & Black under new leadership, Janikowski is going to be waiver-wire fodder once again.

Succop wasn't exactly a fantasy superstar in 2014, failing to eclipse even 100 fantasy points, but that was largely in part to his offense being one of the least productive in the league. Thankfully for Succop, the Titans brass saw fit to restock the cupboards this offseason by brining in a trio of talented rookies in Marcus Mariota, Dorial Green-Beckham and David Cobb. Still, those three will have growing pains, and even if they do generate a few more opportunities for Succop, he'll be nothing more than a bye-week fill-in as a fantasy kicker.
