Recently, our crew of fantasy football analysts conducted a mock fantasy football auction draft. The 15-man roster consisted of one QB, two RBs, two WRs, one TE, one WR/RB, one K, one DEF and six bench spots. It uses NFL.com's standard scoring system.

I had a list of a few players I wanted to target (Ray Rice, DeMarco Murray, Julio Jones), but I didn't spend a lot of money at the start of the auction. Instead, I nominated players I wasn't really interested in acquiring and let other owners spend their dollars. That gave me a distinct advantage at the end of the auction, since most of the competition had little money to spend.

I have several, including Rice ($56), Murray ($25), Jones ($33) and Dez Bryant ($9). Getting Bryant for that amount is an absolute steal. I also think I landed a bargain in Mike Wallace for $17. When others were afraid to spend because of his holdout, I rolled the dice and went for him at what I consider a good price. I'm also pretty high on Matt Ryan, so getting him for $10 was solid.
What pick do you regret the most?
I might have spent a little too much on Beanie Wells ($10), but I honestly don't regret any of my picks. On the surface, I'm pretty confident that this team will perform well this season.
Did your draft strategy work?
Yes. I grabbed the players I wanted to target and had enough money toward the end of the auction to fill out my roster with some pretty solid players. I also wanted to finish with five running backs and five wide receivers, which I was willing to do.
What do you like/dislike about your team?
I like this team a ton. My quarterback rotation should be solid, and my running back and wide receiver depth looks good. I also have two No. 1 fantasy tight ends. If I had to make one complaint, it's that my third runner (Beanie Wells) and fourth (Kevin Smith) have some injury concerns. Otherwise I think Iâll be in pretty good shape.
