FedEx Air & Ground NFL Awards Enters Second Year of Expanded Player Format, Now Teaming Up with Feeding America to Deliver Game-Changing Impact

AA-Student_College-Campus_Brand-2021

For the second consecutive season, the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Awards will recognize standout performances not only from quarterbacks and running backs but also from wide receivers and tight ends. The broadened eligibility of the league's longest-running fan-voted awards program acknowledges the evolving nature of the game and reflects FedEx's commitment to innovation and precision – both on the field and in business.

Players will not be restricted to solely winning the air or the ground award. Continuing this season, fans can vote during each week of the regular season for the two players from a group of six who displayed some of the best offensive performances. The FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Year Awards will be announced at the NFL Honors ceremony in Santa Clara during the week of Super Bowl LX.

Voting for weekly nominees is open each week of the regular season from Monday morning at [what time] to Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. ET at NFL.com/FedEx. Fans can also vote on X (formerly Twitter) via the NFL published polls at @NFL and on the NFL Mobile App.

Winners won't just take-home accolades, they also unlock impact. Every Player of the Week honor will result in donations of $2,000 from FedEx in the names of the two winning players ($4,000 total) to Feeding America for a local food bank in the winning player's city. This marks the first time the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Awards program will support Feeding America and its nationwide network of local food banks and pantries.

Since the program's inception in 2003, FedEx has donated nearly $3 million to nonprofit organizations, including charities and children's hospitals, in the name of winning players. This new chapter with Feeding America could bring the program's community impact to every NFL market.
