We are excited to host you and want to share details around health and safety protocols that will be in place for the events leading up to and including gameday in Los Angeles. As we get close to the events, we will continue to update this page with the latest guidelines.

To that end we are prepared to welcome you to Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium with the most updated state and local Covid-19 mitigation protocols and guidelines in place.

Gameday Entry Requirements*

Health and Safety Protocols for entry into the Stadium on Gameday

Fans will be required to comply with all LA County COVID-19 health and safety protocols to enter the Super Bowl LVI campus at SoFi Stadium. Updated protocols include, but are not limited to, a mandatory mask requirement INSIDE THE STADIUM for EVERYONE over 2 years of age regardless of vaccination status. Requirements are outlined below:

Gameday Entry Requirements*

  • Attendees age 5+ must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative PCR test within 48 hours or negative antigen (rapid) test within 24 hours of the game.
  • If unvaccinated, you must obtain your negative test prior to arriving on campus.
  • Attendees 18+ are required to display government issued ID along with their vaccine verification or proof of negative test.
  • Certification of prior COVID-19 infection does not exempt attendees from the vaccination or negative test verification requirement.
  • If using the CLEAR HEALTH PASS App for vaccine verification, an ID is not required.
  • All attendees age 2+ are required to wear a face covering in SoFi Stadium or at the Tailgate party (invite only) except while actively eating or drinking, regardless of vaccination status.
  • Masks are required at all times on NFL charter and fan shuttles.

Important: Please read the detailed information below on accepted vaccine verification documentation, specifics on negative test requirements and other general entry requirements to ensure you have everything needed for an easy entry into Super Bowl LVI.

Please have all documentation ready when you arrive.This includes your vaccination or negative documents, your ID if you are 18 or over and your game ticket.

Proof of full vaccination is defined as having received both doses of a 2-shot vaccine series or, a single dose of a 1-shot vaccine with the final shot being administered more than 14 days before the event start date. 14 days prior to Super Bowl LVI is January 31, 2022.

Accepted Proof of Vaccination document and Proof of Negative COVID-19 Test are as follows:

  • CDC and WHO cards – original, photocopy or digital image accepted
  • CLEAR Health Pass App (no photo ID check required)
  • Vaccine Verification Apps from all US States (e.g., CA Health Pass, NY Excelsior Pass, etc.)
  • International vaccine verification documents
  • You do not need to have a booster shot to be considered vaccinated

Proof of negative COVID-19 test will be required for entry to SoFi Stadium on gameday if fans cannot meet the full vaccination requirement. Please test prior to your arrival to the Super Bowl campus at SoFi Stadium.

  • Test documentation MUST include your name, test date, test type and result.
  • If using a PCR test, it must have been taken with 48 hours of the event date
  • If using an Antigen test, it must have been taken within 24 hours of the event date
  • If using an Over-the-Counter test, please ensure it will provide you with the proper documentation. Accepted documents include:
  • A printed document, email or text message displayed on a phone from the test provider or laboratory - Must include Name, Test date, Test type and Result.

Certification of prior COVID-19 infection does NOT exempt attendees from the vaccination or negative test verification requirement.

Face Coverings / Mask Compliance

LA County COVID-19 health and safety protocols require the following:

  • Masks are required at all times within SoFi stadium unless actively eating or drinking
  • Mask are required within the NFL Tailgate Party
  • Masks are required on all NFL Charter and Fan Shuttle transportation systems
  • Masks are not required outside of the stadium or in Gameday Fan Plaza

Identification Verification

Fans 18 years or older must provide a valid identification with proof of vaccination or a negative test. Photo Identification is defined as an original or photocopy of an identification card including:

  • Driver's license
  • Passport
  • Government issued identification card
  • School or work identification card

Fan Health Promise

SUPER BOWL LVI EVENT PARTICIPANT'S HEALTH PROMISE AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

This Super Bowl LVI Event Participant's Acknowledgement and Health Promise (the "Fan Health Promise") is being entered in return for your and anyone on whose behalf you are registering (including any minors) (individually or all

together referred to herein as "Participant") being allowed to participate in and/or attend the National Football League and Los Angeles Super Bowl LVI Host Committee events and activities being conducted in connection with Super Bowl LVI, from February 5 – 13, 2022, including, without limitation, the Super Bowl Experience presented by Lowe's and Super Bowl LVI game and related events (including, without limitation, the NFL Tailgate Party) (collectively, the "Activities"). This Fan Health Promise applies in addition to any other terms and conditions that apply to any of these specific events or activities. By registering for and/or attending or participating in any of the Activities, Participant, on behalf of themself and anyone on whose behalf they are registering for the Activities (including any minors), acknowledges having read this Fan Health Promise and agrees to be bound by it.

SAFETY AND HEALTH POLICIES

Due to the uncertainty related to the novel coronavirus SARS-COV-2 (together with any variation thereof, "COVID-19") pandemic, Participant acknowledges that their tickets and admission to any of the Activities are subject to all government, venue and National Football League ("NFL") safety and health policies, which include the Fan Health Promise set forth below. Participant acknowledges that due to the evolving nature of the pandemic, the NFL may continue to develop and update these policies in the intervening time between Participant's registration or receipt of a ticket and the date of the Activity at www.SuperBowl.com. By registering for and/or attending or participating in any of the Activities, Participant acknowledges and agrees, on behalf of themselves and anyone accompanying them (including any minor(s)) (1) that Participant and they will comply with such policies and regularly check for any updates to such policies; (2) that Participant's and their attendance at the Event is conditioned on such compliance; and (3) that if Participant's or their admission to any of the Activities is denied or revoked because they have failed or refused to comply with any such safety and health policies of the venue or the NFL, they will not be eligible for any remedy, credit or refund.

FAN HEALTH PROMISE

Participant agrees, on behalf of Participant and anyone on whose behalf they are registering (including any minors), that Participant and each such individual will not attend any of the Activities if they have tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days prior to the Activity, or, unless they are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (as defined by the CDC), any of the following is true on the date of the Activity:

  • Within the prior 14 days, they have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or are subject to a federal or local travel or quarantine advisory due to COVID-19;
  • Within the prior 48 hours, they have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., fever of 100.4⁰F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking, muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms identified by the CDC) (anyone who is fully vaccinated but experiences any of the above symptoms within 48 hours before the activity should nevertheless consult a healthcare provider and get tested for COVID-19 before attending).
