NFL's Best Cleats 2016 Season: Week 3
This week we were treated to some special cleats from the Odell Beckham VS Josh Norman battle, and we take a look at some of the best team colorways on cleats from around the league.
On Monday Night Football, Atlanta Falcons Deion Jones chose to put the same thing on his cleats as was painted on his home during Hurricane Katrina. "Top: Denotes the day. Bottom: Gives the number of victims found dead. Left: identifies the rescue team. Right: Current hazards." - Via the Atlanta Falcons team twitter account. A truly powerful reminder of how devastating hurricane Katrina was.
With all of the shoving tantrums and tears, the cleats went a little under the radar. Odell wore his Joker gloves last year before his infamous game against Josh Norman. Norman, who is an avid Batman fan and the self-proclaimed batman of the league didn't let the slight go by the wayside as he wore Batman cleats for warm ups of his Week 3 match up against Odell Beckham. What did Odell do? He (of course) rose to the occasion and wore a Joker 2.0 cleat in the game. Well played ODB.
Ezekiel Elliott looked like the star that he was forecasted to be as he made Bears' defenders look silly Sunday. These cleats just go to show you how effortless it is to make the Cowboys colors look terrific.
The Dolphins managed to beat the Browns (because the Browns did Brown things). The game was largely an unwatchable, tire fire but one of the lone bright spots was Ndamukong Suh's cleats. Suh wore all white cleats with copper accents that were a nice change of pace from the Dolphins standard issue cleats.
Jordan has done a phenomenal job with the cleats that their athletes are wearing and Golden Tate in particular has worn some of their best looking cleats. The Jordan VII isn't necessarily the coolest sneaker in the Jordan arsenal but it translates into a cleat perfectly.
Much like the Ezekiel Elliot cleats, these just look terrific in the team colors.
These "paisley" purple UA cleats that Cam wore for his game against the Vikings were a very obvious tip of the hat to Prince who was one of Minnesota's most beloved people. The Vikings defense didn't seem to think much of the gesture as they turned Cam's day into a hellish nightmare.
Antonio Brown chose to feature his kids on his cleats this week and the adorable tribute looked awesome. Well done AB.
