How the New England Patriots Advanced to Super Bowl LIII

How did the Patriots get here? It felt like déjà vu all over again. Early-season struggled. Tom Brady looked old. New England fell flat on the road. "The dynasty is over!" Not so fast. After two straight early losses, the Patriots won six straight including close clashes over Patrick Mahomes' Chiefs, Mitchell Trubisky's Bears and Aaron Rodgers' Packers. New England survived the Miami Miracle and the loss of Josh Gordon to secure yet another first-round bye. After easily dispatching of the Chargers, New England stormed into Arrowhead and slipped by the juggernaut Chiefs in overtime to make their fourth Super Bowl appearance in five years.
