Brandi's journey into cheerleading began when she was just 12 years old. From the moment she stepped onto the mat, she knew it was more than just a sport - it was a calling. Brandi's love for cheerleading only deepened as she got older. After graduating from Winston Salem State University, she set her sights on the prestigious TopCats, the cheerleaders for the Carolina Panthers, and worked tirelessly to make her dream a reality. After three attempts of auditioning, her hard work and perseverance paid off in 2021 when she was officially selected to join the squad.
Now in her fourth season as a TopCat, Brandi has not only made a name for herself on the field but has also been honored with the role of one of the team captains, where she leads with grace, strength, and a deep sense of responsibility. Outside of working as an owner of a new cheer and dance studio, she is married to her husband Eugene, and together, they are the proud parents of two children: Ava and Avery. In a fun twist of fate, Brandi discovered she was pregnant during her third season with the TopCats. Through it all, Brandi remains deeply grateful for the opportunity to represent the Carolina Panthers and the joy it brings her to cheer on the team and the fans. As a woman of faith, she is inspired by scripture, often reflecting on the verse: ""Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever."" - 1 Chronicles 16:34. This scripture speaks to Brandi's heart, reminding her of the countless blessings she has received throughout her life - from her supportive husband, her children, her business, her role as a TopCat, and the opportunity to inspire others both on and off the field. Brandi continues to push herself, knowing that each day is a gift to be grateful for.
