Wrist injury will keep Bengals' Rivers out for rest of year

CINCINNATI -- Bengals linebacker Keith Rivers will miss the rest of the season because he hasn't fully recovered from surgery on his right wrist.

Rivers was the ninth overall pick in 2008. He broke his jaw on a hit by Steelers receiver Hines Ward during the seventh game of his rookie season and didn't return. He missed three games in 2009 with a calf injury. He played in 15 games last season despite a foot injury.
