WR Washington back with Steelers

PITTSBURGH --Wide receiver Nate Washington, a restricted free agent, accepted his tender offer from the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday and will make $1,417,000 this season.

Washington ranked fourth on the team with 29 catches for 450 yards and five touchdowns last season. He was signed by the Steelers as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2005. He has 64 catches for 1,057 yards with nine touchdowns in three seasons. caught 29 passes for a 15.5 yard per catch average and five touchdowns last season as a backup.
