Williams, Oliver lead to waiver wire dilemma

Now that we're entering the sixth week of the season, we've got a fair idea of which players will go boom and which ones could go bust. Of course, that doesn't make all of your lineup decisions easy. Then again, that's why we have Fantasy Football Audibles.

This duo of replacement running backs are two of the hottest names on the waiver wire this week after Williams grounded the Falcons and Oliver shot down the Jets. However the first thing to remember is that both backs are short term options until their respective teams' starters return to action. The good news is that both players have pretty favorable matchups this week. Williams and the Giants take on an Eagles defense that is scuffling right now, but the winner in this battle is Oliver, who gets to face a downright awful Raiders defense. Get Charged up this week.

Russell Wilson is making a solid bid to be a top-five fantasy quarterback this season. We already know about Aaron Rodgers' long list of fantasy bona fides. This week, neither quarterback has a particularly good matchup with Wilson facing the Cowboys and Rodgers dealing with the Dolphins. The difference here might be in the pass-catchers. There's no doubt that Green Bay's wideouts are more potent than Seattle's and while both opposing secondaries have been pretty good this year, Miami is slightly more forgiving than Dallas (who thought we'd be saying that at the start of the season?). Give Rodgers the nod in this case.

Bennett has been one of the best tight ends in fantasy football to begin the season. But Gates has been even better. That alone might be reason enough to give the Chargers tight end the start this week. Don't pay attention to any talk about Bennett falling off after September, there's still reason to believe in him. This week, however, the combination of San Diego's high-powered offense taking on the Raiders underperforming defense is good enough to give Gates the advantage.
