Wide receiver Burress will start for Giants vs. Redskins

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- A question mark heading into Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins due to an ankle injury, wide receiver Plaxico Burress will start for the New York Giants.

Burress, whose four touchdown catches are tied for tops in the NFL, was listed as questionable after practicing on a limited basis Friday. He had missed the previous two practices.

Burress didn't seem to limp while catching passes early in the workout, but coach Tom Coughlin said he was unable to complete the practice.

"It is going to be one of those deals depending on how he feels on game day," Coughlin said.

Burress, who didn't play at all in the preseason because of ankle and back injuries, has averaged 17.6 yards on 10 catches and scored four of the team's five touchdowns.
