Who's is the best NFL player from Louisville or Michigan?

Michigan and Louisville, combatants in the men's NCAA basketball championship, have a rich hoops history but also have produced some great NFL players. Who, from which school, was the best?

The guy who couldn't get on the field for Michigan. The guy who began his career as the seventh quarterback on the Wolverines' depth chart.

The guy forced to complete with a failed outfielder for his job. The guy who hired a sports psychiatrist and considered transferring. Talking about Mr. Giselle Bundchen.

Louisville's Johnny Unitas, the guy who set the stage for the modern day QB like Brady. To many, he is still the greatest quarterback to ever play.

Two-time MVP. Two-time Super Bowl MVP. Five-time AFC champion. Three-time Super bowl champion.

Ninth-round draft pick. Ten-time Pro Bowler. Three-time MVP. Six-time All-Pro. Two world championships, one Super Bowl championship.

Sure, the game has changed and the regular season is a couple games longer.

But Brady, in 13 seasons, has already thrown for 4,600 more yards more than Unitas in 19. From '68 through 72, Unitas threw 26 more picks than touchdowns.

Figures you'd pierce greatness to prove a point. If Brady had to play when Johnny U did, when defenders had free reign to unload on QBs, he might not be as prolific because he'd be beat up.

Hurts me to say it, but the only thing Unitas had over Brady is the high tops.

Figures that's be your go-to save. He also had a much better hairdo (crew cut).
