Welker limited by neck injury in return to Patriots practice

New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker was back at practice on Thursday, one day after showing up on the injury report with a neck injury and missing practice.

Welker was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's session.

Welker, who leads the NFL with 57 receptions for 824 yards and six touchdowns, mysteriously appeared on Wednesday's injury report. The Boston Herald reported that Welker's neck injury wasn't believed to be a serious problem.
