Charles Johnson is one of Minnesota's top wide receivers, but he had trouble finding his own jersey to give out as a gift for Father's Day.
The former Packers seventh-round pick came on strong toward the end of the 2014 season, catching 28 balls for 446 yards and two touchdowns, yet he's resorted to purchasing old Percy Harvin jerseys and replacing the last name.
"I wish they'd have my jersey for sale," Johnson told TwinCities.com. "If they did, I'd be willing to buy them all myself."
Johnson's wife played the hero this year, contacting the Vikings personally so that Charles could bring an authentic home to his father in Kentucky.
But it seems like he won't stay silent for long.
Though the Mall of America apparently has no plans to stock the jerseys anytime soon, there's a good chance Johnson outperforms first-round pick Cordarrelle Patterson this year if he still can't learn the system to offensive coordinator Norv Turner's satisfaction.
Maybe then Johnson won't have to go out of his way to buy more uniforms.
