Veteran WR Chambers will make Chiefs debut vs. Jaguars

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Chris Chambers, claimed off waivers Tuesday from the San Diego Chargers, is active for Sunday's road game against the Jaguars.

Chambers could play significantly because Bobby Wade, who started the last two games and is second on the team with 20 receptions, is inactive, and the Chiefs released Bobby Engram on Saturday to make room for running back Kolby Smith.

The other notable inactive for Kansas City is safety Jon McGraw, who was doubtful with a thigh injury. DaJuan Morgan will start in his place.

For Jacksonville, cornerback Rashean Mathis is returning to the starting lineup after missing one game with a broken index finger on his left hand. Mathis' return will move Reggie Nelson back to free safety. Nelson struggled last week at Tennessee in Mathis' cornerback spot.
