Veteran OL Baas signs one-year tender offer with 49ers

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Offensive lineman David Baas signed the one-year contract that he had previously been tendered by the 49ers, the team announced Tuesday.

Baas, a left guard who became a restricted free agent following the 2009 season, started in all 16 of San Francisco's games last season for the first time in his five-year NFL career.

Baas, 28, was a second-round pick (33rd overall) by the 49ers in the 2005 draft. He has appeared in 76 career games with 38 starts, the last 25 of which came at left guard.
