Tuck travels with Giants to D.C.; linebacker Goff placed on IR

Justin Tuck remains questionable for the Giants' season opener against the Redskins, but the defensive end did travel with the team to Washington on Saturday, according to the New York Daily News.

Tuck, who has been dealing with a lingering neck injury, practiced Friday on a limited basis. Giants coach Tom Coughlin said Tuck moved around "pretty good" and said whether or not Tuck plays might depend on how he feels Saturday.

"I'm hopeful," Tuck said Friday on his chances of being on the field against Washington. "We'll see what happens."

This Giants camp will undoubtedly be best remembered for the number of players who ended up on injured reserve. Another name was added to that list Saturday when the team announced linebacker Jon Goff was placed on IR.

Defensive end Justin Trattou was moved up to the active roster.
