A NOTE ON METHODOLOGY: Each week, a six-member panel -- including former players Terron Armstead and Jason McCourty, NFL Network host Jamie Erdahl, celebrity stylist and image consultant Ini Sebastian Ikpe, clothier and designer Chad Johnson and myself -- vote on a list of fits shown off before games from Thursday through Monday, with five points being assigned to each first-place vote, four-points being assigned to each second-place vote, and so on. For players who have previously earned votes, we will list their season point total and mark any prior top-five finishes.
Without further ado, here, in reverse order, are the five best-dressed of Week 9:
5) Stefon Diggs, WR, New England Patriots

Points: 6 | Season point total: 12
Our panelist Jamie Erdahl loved this fit combo, especially with Cardi B supporting Diggs at Gillette Stadium. Cardi B is rocking Bottega Veneta, an eye-popping designer star look, while Diggs is rocking a well-styled streetwear blend of an Army tee (during the NFL's Salute to Service Month) with a pair of ripped denim jeans and boots.
4) Kenny Moore II, CB, Indianapolis Colts

Points: 7 | Season point total: 14
The statement piece here is a Duane & Johnson custom hand-dyed deerskin long coat and shirt, paired with a vintage Ralph Lauren Purple Label tie. The burgundy Dr. Martens finish off the bold look.
Our panelist Chad Johnson designed this look, meaning he was prohibited from voting on it. He says their vision was to "blend luxury tailoring with effortless superhero vibes."
3) Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs

Points: 9
Mahomes' three-piece black pinstripe suit here brings franchise QB energy. It's well-tailored and bold, and Mahomes appears comfortable wearing it. The clean loafers and sunglasses complete the all-black look, which was my personal favorite of the week.
2) Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Seattle Seahawks

Points: 10
JSN has been the NFL's best receiver so far this season, so it's perfect timing to introduce him to our style list -- it's giving true No. 1 receiver vibes. This suit is well-tailored and demands attention.
1) Rashee Rice, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

Points: 15 | Season point total: 23
One of the most unique and well-sequenced outfits we've seen this season -- Rice brought a specific vision to life, sold by these yellow gloves, which make the color lettering on his KidSuper jacket pop even more. After missing most of the season, he's gone on a heater in these rankings, finishing in the top two twice in the last three weeks. His eye for fashion is impressive.
Just missed the cut: Darrell Baker Jr. (5 points), Maliek Collins (5), Siran Neal (5), Alex Anzalone (4), Al-Quadin Muhammad (4), Travis Kelce (3), DJ Turner (3), Christian McCaffrey (3), Jamal Adams (3), Tyquan Lewis (3), C.J. Stroud (2), Deommodore Lenoir, Lamar Jackson, Solomon Thomas, Bradley Chubb.

Through Week 9, Smith -- pictured above in a fit that placed second in Week 8 -- has accumulated 47 points, more than anyone else so far this season, and has been ranked in the top five four times so far. So he earns the spot as midseason MVP.

Jamie Erdahl -- Host of Good Morning Football on NFL Network and the nationally syndicated show GMFB OT.
- Fashion vision: Designer sweatshirts take the cake.
Ini Sebastian Ikpe -- Leading celebrity stylist and image consultant known for his work in sports and entertainment.
- Fashion vision: Styling is more than dressing. It's about crafting a narrative that reflects identity, commands presence and sparks conversation. Dress accordingly.
Jason McCourty -- Super Bowl champion and former cornerback for the Titans, Browns, Patriots and Dolphins (2009-2021); current ESPN studio analyst/CBS game analyst.
- Fashion vision: Fashion is confidence, and confidence is a stain you can't wipe off!
Chad Johnson -- Custom clothier and designer for Duane & Johnson menswear tailoring.
- Fashion vision: Where style outlives the season -- fashion, to me, is making today timeless.
And finally, I am a national TV reporter for NFL Network, and my fashion vision is: Dress how you want to be addressed and wear what helps you exude, "I'm HIM."
