Titans TE Scaife out with knee injury; CB Reeves sits for Texans

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Titans have scratched tight end Bo Scaife from the lineup against the Texans, who are sitting cornerback Jacques Reeves for a second straight week.

Scaife hurt his left knee in the opening 13-10 overtime loss at Pittsburgh. He has not practiced since then and had been listed as doubtful. Alge Crumpler replaced him in the starting lineup.

Reeves practiced this week in his return from a broken leg early in training camp. But he was scratched along with two of the team's top receivers -- Kevin Walter and Andre Davis.

Dan Orlovsky was designated as the third quarterback.

The Titans deactivated three defensive linemen: Jacob Ford, Sen'Derrick Marks and Kevin Vickerson.
