Titans sign LB Zac Diles, FB Collin Mooney

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Titans have signed veteran linebacker Zac Diles and rookie fullback Collin Mooney, who will now be asking the Army for an early release.

Mooney set a rushing record as a senior at Army in 2008, running for 1,339 yards. He graduated from West Point in 2009 and spent the past three years serving. Now he's hoping to try playing in the NFL.

Diles is a five-year veteran who played 11 games with Tampa Bay and Indianapolis last season. He started his career in Houston, where he played 50 games over four seasons, and he had his best year in 2009 when he started 12 games with 45 tackles and two forced fumbles.

The Titans released fullback Will Ta'ufo'ou and linebacker Lawrence Wilson to clear roster space.
