Titans' Ford to miss Giants matchup with sprained knee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans will be without defensive end Jacob Ford in Sunday's game at the New York Giants.

Ford was declared out Friday after not practicing all week due to a sprained knee and sprained ankle in the Titans' 19-11 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.

The timing is good with defensive end William Hayes, a starter for 11 games last year, scheduled to return to the defensive line rotation.

Guard/tackle Mike Otto remains out with a knee injury.

Cornerback Cortland Finnegan sat out Friday's practice with a thigh injury, but says he will play Sunday against the New York Giants. Finnegan is listed as probable after showing up on the injury report on Thursday.
