Titans agree to terms with WR Paul Williams

NASHVILLE, TENN. –- The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms today with their third-round draft pick, wide receiver Paul Williams.

The first of three wide receivers selected by the Titans in the 2007 draft, Williams was chosen with the 80th overall pick. In four seasons at Fresno State, Williams played in 39 games with 20 starts and totaled 74 receptions for 1,048 yards (14.1 avg.) and eight touchdowns. He produced his best season statistically as a junior in 2005 and earned first-team All-Western Athletic Conference honors with a team-high 43 receptions for 729 yards and seven touchdowns. As a senior, the Avenal, Calif., native recorded 21 receptions for 229 yards and one touchdown in seven games.

Eight of the Titans' 10 draft choices now have agreed to contracts and will take part in the team's first training camp practice Friday afternoon at Baptist Sports Park in Nashville.
