Titans agree to terms with veteran safety Nickey

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms Tuesday with unrestricted free agent safety Donnie Nickey.

Nickey, a five-year veteran, played in all 16 games last season. In 76 career games, he's made six starts and has made 36 tackles.

"He is a veteran player we can rely upon to work hard, help our depth at safety and be a leader on special teams," said Titans general manager Mike Reinfeldt.

Nickey was a fifth-round draft pick in 2003 out of Ohio State.
