Three Colts assistant coaches to enter 2011 with new roles

INDIANAPOLIS -- Coach Jim Caldwell is reorganizing the Colts' staff.

Frank Reich, the quarterbacks coach the last two seasons, now will be in charge of the receivers. Ron Turner, who coached Indy's receivers this past season, now will be Peyton Manning's quarterbacks coach. And Jim Bob Cooter will be assistant to the offensive coordinator.

Last season, Cooter was an offensive assistant.

The Colts also have replaced longtime running backs coach Gene Huey with the recently hired David Walker and hired Devin Fitzsimmsons as a coaching assistant this offseason.

On Tuesday, Indy put the exclusive franchise tag on Manning, a four-time league MVP. The move will not allow Manning to become an unrestricted free agent.
