Texans rout Titans, retake AFC South lead

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Arian Foster ran for 115 yards and two touchdowns and added 119 more receiving with a 78-yard score as the Houston Texans routed the Tennessee Titans 41-7 on Sunday to take back the AFC South lead.

The Texans stopped a two-game skid, even with Pro Bowl wide receiver Andre Johnson missing his third consecutive game and fullback James Casey his second because of injuries. Quarterback Matt Schaub threw for 296 yards and two touchdowns as the Texans won for the second time in three years at the home of the team they replaced in Houston.

Tennessee now has lost two in a row, wasting the half-game division lead it picked up when Houston lost during the Titans' bye last week. Fans booed Chris Johnson as he was stopped early and often, and he finished with 18 yards on 10 carries. The crowd began leaving early during the fourth quarter.
