Teams will proceed with caution on quartet of veteran WRs

Once upon a time, a list that included Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, Chad Ochocinco and Plaxico Burress would look like the top nominees on a Pro Bowl ballot.

Times have changed, and the veteran quartet is looking for one last hurrah.

On the surface, it would appear that each player would offer a lot to a prospective squad, but issues surrounding their ability to assimilate into a locker room could keep teams from pulling the trigger on any of them despite their potential to provide outstanding production.

With front-office executives and coaches weighing the pros and cons of each player, it will interesting to see if any of these veterans generate significant interest when the league year gets under way.
