Hilton got wide open and snagged a first-down catch on fourth-and-7 to extend the game-winning drive. Two plays later the speedy jitterbug caught a slant pass, shed a tackle and scampered 63 yards for the go-ahead score.
After saying all week "I guarantee I'll make plays Sunday," Hilton delivered.
"They look for me to make big plays, and I wasn't doing that the first two games, and I told them, 'I'm going to be the difference-maker today,'" Hilton said after the game, via the team's official website. "I said earlier in the week, 'I want to put it on me, put the game on me,' and that's what I did today."
Hilton finished with eight receptions on 11 targets for 174 yards and the TD.
"He put up -- he definitely put up," safety Mike Adams said. "All week he was talking, 'Pops, watch -- watch: I'm going to get a buck (100 receiving yards) on them. I'm getting a buck. They shut me down last week; that's not going to happen again.' And he showed out."
Hilton had been held to a combined 10 receptions and 120 yards the first two weeks. He hadn't had a touchdown in seven previous games.
Luckily, T.Y. bailed them out.
