Tom Brady wants to give Malcolm Butler his MVP truck

Tom Brady won the Super Bowl MVP award after his masterful performance guiding the New England Patriots down the field on two fourth-quarter drives to gain the 28-24 edge over the Seattle Seahawks.

However, the award, the fourth Super Bowl trophy and how we frame Brady's legacy at the moment were all possible because rookie corner Malcolm Butler made the first interception of his career.

"A guy like Malcolm who makes that type of instinctive, quick play, that's one of his strong suits," Brady said Tuesday morning on WEEI-FM. "I don't think it surprised any of us players, because that's really what his skill set is. A lot of people didn't get to see that over the course of the season.

"It comes off as a great play, which it really was, obviously the biggest time of the year. Someone had to make a play. It happened to be Malcolm."

Brady said he'd like to give the undrafted rookie the Chevrolet truck he received when he was named MVP.

"I would love to give him the truck," Brady said. "I would love to do that. I'm going to figure out how to make that work."

Considering that the house the Brady family used to call home in L.A. had a moat around it, Tom can afford to give the rookie who helped cement his career at least one free truck.
