In fact, he added that the NFL should apologize to the Patriots, especially Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, upon completion of Ted Wells' investigation into the matter if the NFL can't find any wrongdoing.
"If the Wells investigation is not able to definitely determine that our organization tampered with the air pressure in the footballs, I would expect and hope the league would apologize to our entire team and in particular coach Belichick and Tom Brady for what they have had to endure the last week. I am disappointed in the way the entire matter has been handled and reported upon," Kraft said.
The owner was not scheduled to speak on Monday, but conveyed his disappointment in the events of the last week.
"I want to make it clear that I believe, unconditionally, that the New England Patriots have done nothing wrong," Kraft said.
Kraft was the only member of the team's front office who directly addressed the situation on Monday.
Belichick sidestepped several questions surrounding the investigation.
Wells issued a statement Monday afternoon saying that the league's probe would still take several more weeks to complete.
