Steinbach will sit, but Edwards in for Browns

BALTIMORE -- Guard Eric Steinbach was placed on the inactive list Sunday by the Cleveland Browns for their game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Steinbach has a shoulder injury that forced him to miss the entire week of practice. It was only the second time in 82 career games that he did not start.

Seth McKinney started at left guard in his place.

Wide receiver Braylon Edwards was not on Cleveland's inactive list and was expected to play after injuring his shoulder in last week's game against Pittsburgh.

Besides Steinbach, Cleveland's inactives were quarterback Ken Dorsey, receiver Donte' Stallworth, defensive back Sean Jones, linebackers Kris Griffin and Willie McGinest, offensive lineman Ryan Tucker and tight end Martin Rucker.

Baltimore's inactives included kick returner Yamon Figurs, who has a hamstring injury. Others were quarterback Troy Smith, defensive backs Fabian Washington and Evan Oglesby, linebacker Nick Greisen, offensive linemen Oniel Cousins and David Hale, and nose guard Kelly Gregg.
