Steelers RBs coach Wilson recovering from burns

Pittsburgh Steelers running backs coach Kirby Wilson is steadily recovering from burns sustained to his arms and legs in a January house fire, according to head coach Mike Tomlin.

"He has been out of the hospital now for over a week," Tomlin said during this week's NFL Annual Meeting, via CBSSports.com. "He is attacking the rehabilitation. He is an extremely tough guy. ... We are excited about getting him back at some point."

Wilson suffered burns to 30 to 50 percent of his body, a team source told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette at the time. The newspaper also reported that the burns were serious, however, not life-threatening.
